The device works as follows.
In order to fasten the printing plate 7 on the plate cylinder 1, the bent front edge 5 of the plate is placed on edge 4. The bar 8 is turned in the direction of rotation of the plate cylinder 1, for example, by means of a lever bolt 20. For this, one end of the lever bolt 20 is inserted into the hole 19 of the strap 8 and rotated by hand in the direction of rotation of the cylinder until the poles 27 of the rod magnets 25 adjoin the wall 29 of the channel 2. In this position the magnets 25 hold the bar 8. 1. A device for fastening and tightening a flexible printing plate on a form cylinder of a rotary printing machine, containing at least one channel installed in the forming part of the form cylinder
